It is engineered to provide precise flow control while minimizing static pressure loss. Gas leakage varies from 5% to 1% typically.
Common components to the Standard Butterfly Damper include shafts, packing glands, bearings, actuators and controls. Common to the Standard louver Damper are parallel and opposed blade non-adjustable and adjustable blade linkage.
For reference, louver and guillotine dampers are also offered in round versions as well.
