The FE&M high-cycle butterfly damper is engineered to operate 350,000 cycles per year for a maximum 5 million cycles.
Every design detail has been considered in the design of the high-cycle damper. The design is virtually maintenance-free providing many years of reliable service. All parts are replaceable either in the field or in our factory. It is recommended for service particularly in Thermal Oxidizers designed to eliminate Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).
Hydraulic cylinder actuators are recommended, however, pneumatic actuators can also serve many applications. Various seat configurations including metal seats are available to ensure minimal leakage to less than 0.25% depending on size.
